More Than Conquerors College is authorized by the Veterans Administration and North Carolina State Approving Agency (NCSAA) to administer veterans benefits. A veteran desiring to take advantage of educational benefits must initiate procedures with the Veterans Administration, which issues to the student a Certificate of Eligibility. Official notification of acceptance by MTCC is needed before a student can begin procedures for receiving these benefits. Students will be granted appropriate credit for previous education training. Department of Veteran Affairs will be notified upon application process.

2. Submit all Official Transcripts to More Than Conquerors College
Prior to being certified for benefits, you must submit all official transcripts from your high school/GED equivalency and from any college/universities you have attended to the Registrar.

3. Registration and Payments
Students must complete registration of their classes. In the event the financial obligation to the institution is greater than the amount of the VA education benefit disbursement, the student will be responsible for paying the difference. No penalties will be imposed due to delayed disbursement funding from VA under chapter 31 or 33.
It can take anywhere from 60-90 days for VA to process your claim for benefits.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ):
1. How long does it take to begin receiving benefits after they have been initiated? New applicants should expect to receive their first check 8-12 weeks from the time the enrollment certification is sent. You will be paid retroactively from the first day of class. Continuing students should receive checks more quickly, provided there have not been any changes that affect your benefits.
2. Who do I contact if I have questions concerning my veteran benefit payments such as direct deposit, payment amounts, etc.?

3. Do I have to attend full-time to receive my educational benefits? No. Although your benefits are maximized when you attend full-time, you can receive benefits even when you attend part-time as well.
4. I am the spouse of an active duty service member. Am I entitled to VA benefits? Possibly. Check the GI Bill website at: http://www.benefits.va.gov/gibill/survivor_dependent_assistance.asp to see if you qualify.
