ASSOCIATION BOARD OF DIRECTORS
BOARD CHAIR | Dr. Al Marquetti
Dr. Marquetti currently serves as a Board Officer (Board Chair) of the MTCC Alumni and Friends Board of Directors. He has both Masters and Doctorate Degrees from MTCC and has been an instructor at the school since his initial graduation. Dr. Marquetti is active in a number of areas at Victory Christian Center, where he has attended since his relocation to Charlotte from California in 1992. Al has degrees from the University of California at Santa Barbara and Montreat College. He and his wife Shely have two children.
VICE PRESIDENT | Willie Thomas, Jr.
Mr. Thomas currently serves as a Board Officer (Vice-Chair) of the MTCC Alumni and Friends Board of Directors. Additionally, he is on staff at MTCC as head of the Alumni Association.
TREASURER | Reggie Pretty
Mr. Pretty currently serves as a Board Officer (Treasurer) of the MTCC Alumni and Friends Board of Directors.
SECRETARY | Jellaine Cameron
Miss Cameron currently serves as a Board Officer (Secretary) of the MTCC Alumni and Friends Board of Directors. Jellaine graduated Magna Cum Laude from MTCC in 2005 with an Associate Degree from the School of Ministry. She is a member of Victory Christian Center where she is actively serving in the Ministry of Helps as a Prayer Partner, an instructor for the Primary 1, SNBC teacher and MOH Leader for Youth Fun Night. Miss Cameron is the mother of a beautiful teenage daughter. She has been employed as a Substitute Teacher and Teacher Assistant for Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools since 2013.
DIRECTOR | Dr. Clinton Bothwell
DIRECTOR | Reggie Bratton
Mr. Bratton is currently working in the security industry. Reginald has been a member of Victory Christian Center for twenty- four years. He attended VCC for about one year before joining the Men’s Shelter team where he has served in this capacity for two years. He then joined the Usher Board in which he is still an active member. Reginal has taken the advantage of being a student at More Than Conquerors College (School of the Bible and School of Ministry) whereas he states, “I am very appreciative to have the privilege of being a student and graduate of the School of the Bible and also the School of Ministry”. Because of the excellent leadership of his Pastor, Robyn Gool and the late Academic Dean at MTCC, Donald Brooks, Reginald has gained a thirst and love for the Lord that fueled the motivation to continue his spiritual education at MTCC.
DIRECTOR | Dr. Sarah Carr
Dr. Carr counts it an honor and privilege to serve in any capacity for an outstanding Christian Educational institution. She acquired her Masters and Doctorate Degrees from MTCC and continues to take classes at the school. Sarah’s gratitude is to God and the founder and President, Dr. Robyn J. Gool for the vision and spirit of excellence that is expressed through the Dean and staff at MTCC, along with an outstanding Bible curriculum, Career Technology, Computer Technology, Medical Coding and School of Broadcasting. She sincerely encourages everyone that has given thought to learning more of God’s word or wanting a certification or degree from a Christian college, to consider enrollment at MTCC and take advantage of the scholarships, intimate and non-intimidating classroom environment or the convenience of on-line courses.
DIRECTOR | Matthew Chapman
DIRECTOR | Penny McNair
Ms. McNair is actively involved in the Helps Ministry at Victory Christian Center where she currently serves as a Sunday Night Bible Class instructor for the Junior Two Department. Prior, she served within the Prayer Partner ministry for many years. She has received a Bachelor in Ministry from MTCC and expects to receive a Masters in May 2018. Pennie studied at Fort Valley State College for two years in Criminal Justice. Upon locating to Fort Lauderdale, Florida she furthered her studies in Accounting from Atlantic Vocational Technical College. She has a passion for writing and is the author of several published books. Pennie also writes and directs short skits for the Junior Two Department at her local church. Pennie is the mother of three sons.
DIRECTOR | Richard Robbins
Mr. Robbins is a retired from AT&T where he was an Electronic Technician in Digital Data Systems for most of his career. At the present time Richard is mostly involved in functions at VCC. Previously he worked for the United States Air Force Security Service/ National Security Agency with the appropriate clearance to protect our country. Richard attended various schools sanctioned by them and graduated at the top of his class from them all. Presently Richard is at work in several ministries of helps groups at VCC and is currently the President of Forest View Homeowners Board of Directors.
DIRECTOR | Charlie White
Mr. White is a recent retiree after forty years of military and federal government service. He expects to receive his Doctorate from MTCC in May 2018, and has been an instructor at the school since 1997. He has been a member of Victory Christian Center for twenty-nine years where he has served in the Ministry of Helps as an Usher, Accounting Team and currently as a Door Greeter. He and his wife of forty-two years are the parents of one daughter and one grandson. Mr. White received his Bachelor’s Degree in Public Administration from Point Park University in Pittsburg, PA; his Masters Degree in Business Management from Ashford University in Clinton, Iowa (Honor Society – Golden Key International Honor Society and Salute Veterans Honor Society); More Than Conquerors College – Christian Ministry 1994 Valedictorian.
